角神スキー場　新潟県阿賀町

Tsunogami was a ski area just behind an onsen hot springs hotel in the Kanose area of Aga Town in the northern region of Niigata Prefecture. This area is close to the border with Fukushima Prefecture. The ski area opened in 1969 and last operated during the 2009-2010 winter season. The pair lift still remains in place and the hotel is still open.

  • Tsunogami was located in the Kanose neighbourhood of Aga Town
    　
  • When the ski area first opened, Kanose was an independent town
    　
  • In April 2005 Kanose Town 鹿瀬町 merged with Tsugawa Town  津川町, Kamikawa Village 上川村 and Mikawa Village  三川村  to form Aga Town 阿賀町
    　
  • The ski slope at Tsunogami, serviced by one pair lift, was located directly behind the Hotel Tsunogami  ホテル角神
    　
  • Tsunogami Ski Area last operated during the 2009-2010 winter season
    　
  • The TSUNOGAMI SKI LODGE building remains by the lift, showing ski lift charges for that last season
    　
  • A one day lift ticket was 2,800 yen; one ride on the lift cost 160 yen and 11 rides cost 1600 yen
    　
  • There was night skiing on nights before holidays at one time, but it appears that night skiing was not on offer during the last season

  • The private road leading up to the area is lined with large sakura cherry blossom trees and a popular attraction in spring
