Kiyokawa Kogen was a ski area in Aga Town in the northern region of Niigata Prefecture. It opened in 1970 with one single lift and there was also a ski jump to the west of the ski slope. There is now no evidence remaining of there ever being a ski area at this location.

Further Information

  • Kiyokawa Kogen was located close to the central Tsugawa area of Aga Town
    　
  • In April 2005 Tsugawa Town  津川町, Kanose Town 鹿瀬町, Kamikawa Village 上川村 and Mikawa Village  三川村  merged to form Aga Town 阿賀町
    　
  • Very little confirmed information about this ski area can be found
    　
  • It appears to have opened in 1970 and was open until around 1990
    　
  • There was one 335m single lift and also a ski jump facility
    　
  • The positioning of the lift in the above photo is a 'best guess' based on available information, and not 100% confirmed
    　
  • An onsen hot springs facility is located close to where the ski slope used to be
    　
  • That facility is called Tsugawa Onsen Kiyokawa Kogen Hoyo Centre  津川温泉清川高原保養センター
