Mekabuchi was a ski area located in the Shin Kazawa Onsen region of Tsumagoi Village in western Gunma Prefecture. It was a small area with one single lift. Mekabuchi opened in 1958 and closed around the mid 1980s. Kazawa Snow Area - previously known as Shin Kazawa and then as Kazawa Highland - is nearby.
