Ski areas from Japan’s past 過去の日本のスキー場を懐かしむ

Shima Onsen

Nakanojo Town, Gunma Prefecture

四万温泉スキー場 群馬県中之条町

Shima Onsen was a small ski area close to the onsen hot spring area of the same name in Nakanojo Town, Gunma Prefecture. Unfortunately, this ski area is a bit of a mystery as almost nothing can be confirmed, even after talking with some locals. However, it is still mentioned on an old sign in the central onsen hot spring area.
