Takaragawa Onsen
Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture
宝川温泉スキー場 群馬県みなかみ町
Takaragawa Onsen was a small local ski area in the Fujiwara area of Minakami Town in the northern region of Gunma Prefecture. It was close by the famous onsen hot springs of the same name. This onsen facility has become very popular with foreign visitors in recent years. Most visitors to the onsen probably have no idea that there used to be a small ski hill just a short walk from the entrance. It closed sometime in the late 1990’s and the one single lift has been removed.
