Tozawa Village, Yamagata Prefecture
最上川スキー場 山形県戸沢村
Mogamigawa was a ski area in Tozawa Village in the northern region of Yamagata Prefecture. It was also known as Kokusetsu Mogamigawa. The ski area was just behind Takaya Station. Mogamigawa opened in 1980 and closed in 2000. Since then, efforts have been made to help nature regain control of the slopes. However, the ski lifts remain in place.
