Senhata
Misato Town, Akita Prefecture
千畑スキー場 秋田県美郷町
Senhata was a ski area located to the east of Daisen City and to the north-east of Yokote City in Akita Prefecture. It was close to the border with Iwate Prefecture. Senhata was the name of the town. In 2004 Senhata Town merged with a neighbouring town and village to create Misato Town. Senhata initially just featured one 6-person gondola that serviced all the western-facing courses. A pair lift was added to the base area in 2001.
